Starting Leverage: Leverage used on the order that starts the trade
DCA Leverage: Leverage used on DCA orders
DCA loss %: When a trade loses this much value, percentage-wise, the bot will add another order to the trade to average down the combined entry prices (or average up for the Short side) so it can close at a lower price and still make profit (Or higher price for Short side.
DCA Loss Multiplier ON/OFF: This automatically increases your DCA Loss with this formula:
new_dca_loss = regular_dca_loss x number_of_orders_in_current_trade
DCA Loss Expander ON/OFF: This makes the automatic DCA Loss increases from the Multiplier more drastic by using this formula:
new_dca_loss = (regular_dca_loss x number_of_orders_in_current_trade) x number_of_orders_in_current_trade
Max DCA Loss %: This is the maximum DCA Loss that the Multiplier and Expander are allowed to calculate up to. If they calculate a DCA Loss over this amount, it is ignored and this amount is used instead.
Stop Loss %: When you are TOTALLY out of funds for additional DCA and the losing trade loses this much value, percentage-wise, the bot will close both trades to avoid full liquidation on the losing trade. The current value % for a trade is determined by the value of the funds in the trade, NOT the price movement, since leverage is used.
Start DCA Power: Each DCA orders’ buy amount is however many Lots are already in the trade multiplied by the DCA Power, so the higher the DCA Power, the better DCA works, but the faster you run out of funds for additional DCA. The Start DCA Power is used on the 1st DCA order for a trade.
Normal DCA Power: This is the DCA Power that is used on any DCA orders after the 1st DCA order on a trade.
Buy Amount %: The percent of the account value to put into each start order. Kucoin Futures trading is done by Lots, so when WaveRider is calculating how many Lots to use for your trades using your Buy Amount %, it rounds to the nearest whole number. If the amount of Lots is under 1, it automatically rounds up to 1 Lot.
Profit Margin %: This is the percent difference between the entry price and the profit price for the trades. Both Long and Short must be in profit at the same time for the bot to close the trades.
You need to make sure your profit margin is high enough to cover trade fees. Usually this means setting it higher than 0.1
Trailing Profit Margin ON/OFF: This allows the profit margin on each individual coin to automatically increase as the price increases, and then once the price drops back down to your auto-raise profit margin, the trade sells for even more profit than it would at the normal Profit Margin!
Trailing Profit Margin Gap: The Profit Margin will not start automatically raising until the price has gone this much percent above the current Profit Margin for the coin
Individualized selling of each side ON/OFF: This setting lets the bot close both sides at the same time once they are both simultaneously in profit, or let each side close individually if in profit, regardless of it the other is in profit. The non-profit side would just stay in trade and DCA until it becomes profitable or hits your Stop Loss. LEAVE THIS ON IF USING NEURAL!!!
Individualized buying of each side ON/OFF: This setting lets the bot open each side individually or at the same time. LEAVE THIS ON IF USING NEURAL!!!
– Once you pass that part in setting up WaveRider, WaveRider will start running. Next time you start WaveRider, type Y when it asks about using saved API info and saved settings, and you won’t have to re-enter your keys or preferred settings!
